This is a project my personal finance class did!
If Dave Ramsey sees it, then juniors get out of their exams! Know Dave? Please pass it his way!
Enjoy!

Verse of the Week- via JFarese
Written by Keith Beauchemin via JFarese
~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~
Psalm 34:19
"Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the LORD delivers him out of them all."
We need to remember that many are the afflictions of the righteous. We wish
that there were no afflictions, or maybe just a few. But this is the way is has
been for the saints throughout the ages. When we are in the midst of
afflictions, especially long term afflictions, we can begin to have doubts.
Does God care? Am I really a Christian? Does God really love me? There is
real comfort and assurance in these words: "Many are the afflictions of the
righteous."
You see, it is those God loves that He afflicts. He has shown great love and
grace by making us righteous in Christ. Then he conforms us to the image of
Christ. He works in our lives to purify us, and one of the ways He does that is
through afflictions. He weans us from self-confidence, love of ourselves and
the things of this world. Our afflictions are not enjoyable, but they are a
blessing. When we look back upon our afflictions and see God's hand and purpose
in sanctifying us, we will be able to say, "It is good for me that I have been
afflicted." (Psalm 119:70)

Thankful- November 9
November 9, I am thankful for my dear grandparents and getting to spend time with them! To celebrate Nana's birthday, the birthday girl, Papa, and I went to Cheekwood's Pineapple Room and out for a little shopping! We had so much fun and I am so glad we got to celebrate together :) I love you both very very much!!
I am thankful for lots of great chatting and fellowshipping at the swing dance (and ironically not a lot of dancing...).
I am thankful for sweet Ms. Kathy, who does a great job cutting our hair!
I am thankful for much needed quality chat time with Rachel and Julia- driving through a lovely neighborhood, freezing on the porch even with blankets, eating all of the Blue's cookies, and catching up... :)

Thankful- November 5
Tomorrow being Election Day, today and every day I am thankful that God is sovereign. That He is in total and complete control at all times. I am thankful that His ways are better than ours. I am also thankful that He works everything for our good:
Romans 8:28
"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."
I am thankful that we can trust Him and have peace amidst times such as these.
